The Look Alive Club Cup: official rules

Updated Oct 15, 2026: the grand prize now needs at least 100 counted members (rule 6).

1. 1

   Sponsor.

   Look Alive Technologies Inc. (“Look Alive”). This contest isn’t sponsored, endorsed or run by Apple, Instagram, TikTok or any school.

2. 2

   Dates.

   The contest runs from Oct 13, 2026 at 12:00am ET to Nov 1, 2026 at 11:59pm ET (the “Contest Period”). Weekly periods run Monday 12:00am ET to Sunday 11:59pm ET.

   Who can enter.

   Student clubs, associations and chapters at a college or university in Canada (excluding Quebec) (a “Club”). A Club takes part through a code Look Alive issues to it. Members who count must be legal residents of Canada (excluding Quebec), 18 or older.

   How a member counts.

   A person counts for a Club when, during the Contest Period, they create a Look Alive account, enter that Club’s code during setup, and save at least 3 items. Each person counts once, for one Club. Accounts that look automated, duplicated or fraudulent don’t count, and Look Alive may disqualify a Club that tries to inflate its count.

   No purchase necessary.

   Look Alive is free. To count for a Club without downloading the app, email contests@shoplookalive.com with your name, your school and the Club’s code before the contest ends. Each person can count once in total, whichever way they enter.

6. 6

   Prizes.

   • Grand prize: the Club with the most counted members at the end of the Contest Period, if it has at least 100 counted members, wins 5 shopping sprees of CA$1,000 each, as Look Alive purchases of items chosen from the app, up to CA$1,000 per person, for 5 members the Club names.
   • If no Club reaches 100 counted members, the Club with the most counted members wins 1 shopping spree of CA$1,000 instead, on the same terms, for 1 member the Club names.
   • Weekly prizes: CA$100 to the Club whose counted members grew the most in each weekly period ending Oct 18, Oct 25 and Nov 1.
   • Prizes aren’t transferable, and there’s no cash substitute for the shopping sprees. Ties are broken by whichever Club reached its total first.
7. 7

   Winners.

   Look Alive confirms the counts from its records and contacts the winning Club’s executive within 3 days of each period ending. The Club has 7 days to reply and name its recipients, or the prize goes to the next Club. Each named recipient must correctly answer a skill-testing math question before receiving a prize.

8. 8

   Publicity.

   With a Club’s permission, Look Alive may share its name and standing on its accounts.

9. 9

   Privacy.

   Entry information is used only to run the contest, under the Look Alive privacy policy.

10. 10

    General.

    Look Alive may cancel or change the contest if it can’t run as planned, and will post any change here. Questions: contests@shoplookalive.com.
